some of my earliest memories are of waiting for my bedroom door to click shut, so i could grab my pen and journal in the quiet of night.

i’ve always been a maker— maker of crafts, stories, songs, dances, paintings, drawings, and collages.

this is how i come home to myself and meet myself over and over again.
